  21. regular monthly art.

  23. ò New Ready-Made Layouts - you receive actual finished layouts that are
  24. ready to use instantly for your projects. These full- and 2-color
  25. layouts were created by our own design staff as layout demonstrations in
  26. your Options magazine. Each layout that is numbered in Options is
  27. available for you to use directly, even including headline copy. You
  28. will find the layouts in the "Ready-Made Layouts" folder for Mac users
  29. or the "Layouts" folder for PC users. To use them, open them in a page
  30. layout application and add your own type and logo. They are saved as
  31. Illustrator 3 documents; headlines have been converted to
  32. outlines/paths. All 2-color Ready-Made Layouts use magenta as the second
  33. color. To change the second color, open it in a draw program and select
  34. the color of your choice. Or, simply have your printer run the magenta
  35. plate in your chosen color. Be sure to discuss your options with your
  36. printer to ensure correct color reproduction.

  38. Note: Each demonstration file may accompany several additional
  39. supporting art files for each Ready-Made Layout. These supporting files
  40. are numbered to correspond with the layout. For example, the layout
  41. numbered 023Y.EPS may be accompanied by files numbered 023Y-A.EPS, 023Y-
  42. B.EPS, etc. (for Mac) or 023Y_A.EPS, etc. (for PC). If you're sending
  43. these files to a service bureau for output, these supporting art files
  44. will need to accompany them.

  46. A 'Y' within the number indicates it is a Ready-Made Layout; an 'X' in
  47. the number indicates it is part of your regular monthly art.
